A fishing village, fancy resorts, ocean view beach club, famous bar and fresh seafood at sunset. Once a simple fishing village, Jimbaran and it’s 5-kilometer white sand coast line is now home to several of Bali’s more upscale resorts. But its fishing heritage is still an important part of the Jimbaran experience, no more so than at sunset on the beach where there is a plethora of fresh seafood restaurants to choose from.
Sitting around tables in the sand, eating delicious grilled fish while a band of musicians roams the beach playing everything from the Gipsy Kings to Frank Sinatra: this is, for many, the epitome of the Jimbaran experience.
